I expect a tight game at least in three of today’s quarterfinals. So we can make an accumulator using the “overs”: total match frames over 6.5 (five frames to win) in three games. The fourth one can be different. Maybe Ronnie O’Sullivan wouldn’t stand against world’s number one Mark Selby.

Three quarterfinals have their favourites but I can’t say that it is obvious. I doubt a win from Ding Junhui vs Neil Robertson match. Ding played some weak games last time but he’s able to win more than one frame. Face to face score is 6:5 with Ding’s advantage. Now he needs to win to improve his rating which is important in qualifying to the world championship.

Mark White is now in a good condition and he surely can offer a vicious battle to Mark Allen. White is now supported by all Welsh fans after Mark Williams’ loss. And we also can expect a good performance from both Joe Perry and Ben Woollaston.

And one more bet is on a straight win. Ben Woollaston stands apart from all the others: he’s now in the third spot in ratings while the others are from the Top 16. Joe Perry has a good chance to defeat Woollaston if he doesn’t miss as much as he did in the last game. So I’m backing Perry to win. And we can expect to total over 6.5 frames along with that here.
