Extra few days rest beneficial for Spurs
After Spurs’ game away to Burnley was a late casualty due to the snow Spurs should feel the benefit of the extra rest prior to Antonio Conte’s third Premier League game in charge.
After claiming four points from six so far under Conte including a comeback win over Leeds on 21 November, Spurs will be feeling confident that they can get more points against newly promoted Brentford.
Kane has failed to score in last four Premier League matches but this is a prime opportunity to get back amongst the goals given Brentford’s recent defensive record in away matches.
? Belief in the group
“The first 13 games has given us a confidence that we have a chance, we can discuss how big that is, against any team. We fancy we have a chance on Thursday. We will definitely go there, try to be brave and do the bits we believe in”#BrentfordFC #TOTBRE pic.twitter.com/qAfRHYvRYb

Back to winning ways
On Sunday, Brentford recorded their first win in six, defeating Everton 1-0 at home courtesy of an Ivan Toney penalty midway through the first half.
They will be encouraged by their first clean sheet in eight matches and will fancy their chances of keeping things tight against a Spurs side who have scored only 11 league goals so far.
However, they will need to bear in mind that eventually Kane is likely to come good and with them leaking six goals in their last two away matches, there is every chance this could happen here.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Brentford predictions
Although Spurs have struggled to score goals this season, it is only a matter of time before this is corrected and Brentford’s recent defensive struggles away from home gives Spurs and Kane an opportunity to do so.
It is a matter of time before Kane starts to score, William Hill have enhanced Kane to score first to 3/1 and we believe he is worth backing at this price.
Although Brentford kept a clean sheet last match, they failed to do so in their previous seven.
We believe due to this and the fact that 75% of Brentford’s last eight matches have resulted in over 2.5 goals that over 2.5 goals will come in again.
