Norwich City vs Manchester United predictions for Saturday’s Premier League fixture at Carrow Road. United, unbeaten since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s departure travel to bottom side Norwich. Read on for our free predictions and betting tips.

Norwich City vs Manchester United key stats

  • Norwich have gone into half-time level in nine of their 15 Premier League matches so far.
  • For Man United it is a similar story as they’ve gone in level in seven of their 15 matches.
  • Norwich have scored a league low five home league goals, they’re also the lowest league scorers overall.
  • In the Premier League, 18 of Man United’s 25 goals have come in the second half.

Canaries unbeaten run ends

Norwich’s four-game unbeaten run came to an end last Sunday as Tottenham defeated Norwich 3-0. This also represented new boss Dean Smith’s first loss with Norwich, and he will be keen to bounce back before his former side Aston Villa’s visit coming in midweek.

Despite Smith’s decent start to life at Carrow Road, Norwich has one point less at this stage than they did in their relegation season of 2019/20.

Faced with tough games all the way up to and including the Christmas period, Norwich will be hoping the “new manager bounce” hasn’t yet expired.

Rangnick hopes to carry on the momentum

New interim manager Ralf Rangnick was successful on his Premier League debut with a 1-0 home win over Crystal Palace on Sunday, thanks to Fred’s goal on 77 minutes.

This coupled with a 1-1 midweek Champions League draw against Young Boys means it’s an unbeaten start for Rangnick, and five games unbeaten overall for United since the horror 4-1 defeat away to Watford.

United have a schedule full of winnable games from now up until Christmas and good results throughout this run could see United enter the top four, something that seemed far out of reach just a few games ago.

Norwich City vs Manchester United predictions

We believe United will inflict a second straight loss on the Canaries. However, a deeper look at the stats shows that United’s last two Premier League wins and their last three wins overall have been draws at half-time before United go on to win it in the second half.

Given how often Norwich also go into the break level we predict draw half-time, United full-time.

Due to the general lack of goals scored by Norwich so far this season we also predict a win to nil for United.
