I would like to bring some interesting facts. You know, the Netherlands have only lost in the quarterfinals of a World Cup once, in 1994, when they lost 3-2 to the winners of that year, Brazil.
Despite the fact the Netherlands failed to qualify for FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia, they finished third and second in the two World Cups before that, in 2014 and 2010, respectively.
Argentina survived a late scare from Australia to advance to the quarterfinals, beating them 2:1.
Since their last triumph in the World Cup in 1986, they have finished runners-up two times but have also gone out to the quarterfinals stage on three occasions since then. These two teams have met five times prior at the World Cup.
The last time they faced each other was in 2014 when Argentina won on penalties in the semifinals. That game ended 0-0 in regular time, and Argentina beat the Netherlands on penalties, 4-2.

I don’t know why, but I can see the Netherlands winning this game 2:1.
