#Millwall issue Covid restriction update…

Better defensive performances needed by Millwall
Millwall had a brief spell in the top flight from 1988 till 1990. In addition, the Lions reached the 2004 FA Cup final and consequently played in the UEFA Cup the following season. A second division win in 1988 is the only title Millwall have, however. This season, the Lions had a slow start winning one of their first nine matches.
Things got better for Gary Rowett’s team as they registered five wins in seven matches. Still, the early season’s form returned and Millwall have now won one of their last six games. To be more precise, two losses in their last three games, saw the Tigers drop down to the bottom half of the table. In effect, Millwall need to be more solid at defense as they have no clean sheets in six matches.
Preston North End will be content with a point
Being the founders of the Football League in 1888, Preston North End are one of the oldest clubs in England. Notably, the Lilywhites became the third club in England to win the title in four different divisions after winning the third division in 1996. As for this season, Preston have 28 points two behind their hosts Millwall. Hence three points here will be crucial.
Obviously, consistency is what is lacking from Preston’s performances. To point out, boss Ryan Lowe’s team won and lost every other game in their last five games. Moreover, the Lilywhites have not won three games in a row this season. In fact, they had two spells of two consecutive games. Also, their scoring average on the road is not encouraging with under one goal per match. Consequently, a point from this match will make Lowe more than happy.
Millwall vs Preston North End Prediction
Millwall are slight favorites to win this match with a very high value of 2.39. The reason for that is the inconsistency of the teams at the mid-table in the English Championship. However, Milwall are undefeated in their last five home games and scored in all of those matches.
On the other side, Preston’s away form shows that the Lilywhites were on target only twice in their last five road games. In addition, Ryan Lowe’s team have no clean sheets in the process.
Furthermore, looking at their latest matches, both teams’ matches saw at least one goal scored. Also, goals were present in the last seven h2h matches. However, the number of goals scored in those h2h matches was under 2.5 in three of the last four matches.
As a result, we will back under 2.5 goals for this match as both teams will play to avoid losing. As for our second prediction, we will choose a combo bet from Vbet.
