Relentless Cityzens
Manchester City extended their winning streak to nine games when they defeated Newcastle 4-0 away from home.
Again, the goals were spread out amongst several sources as defenders Ruben Dias and Joao Cancelo opened the scoring before Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling put the game out of reach.
With both title rivals dropping points over the weekend, City extended their lead at the top to three points and on current form look unstoppable.

Inconsistent Leicester
Due to games being called off because of Covid, Leicester’s last Premier League match was also against Newcastle on December 12 where just like Man City, they also came out 4-0 winners.
Leicester have not put together a winning run in the Premier League since the end of October when they won two in a row.
The return of James Maddison has seen a marked improvement. He has contributed three goals and three assists in his last four league matches.

Leicester on their day are a very good side and certainly capable of defeating Man City. However, their day will not be Boxing Day.
