FC Porto will have to hold on to at least a point

Tuesday’s game is the very definition of an early knockout clash as Porto fight to keep on playing in Europe come February. In fact, just one point separates the two teams, with Porto on five and Atletico with four. Hence, the Argentine needs to find solutions for his vulnerable defense in this crucial game.

As we mentioned in the preview, Porto or Atletico Madrid could be out of Europe after this match. Also, they could both qualify if Liverpool beats Milan by two goals and they draw. Surely, Atletico’s situation is more serious as they are fourth. So they need to take matters into their own hands and go for the win.
