Denis Shapovalov needs to be at his best in his third-round clash
Denis Shapovalov got a much-needed rest after he had a walkover in the second round due to Andujar-Alba’s retirement. The world number 12 had played a five-setter in his opening match in Wimbledon and beat veteran German Philip Kohlschreiber 3-2. Shapovalov hit 58 winners but has to wipe away his 57 unforced errors if he wants to get far in the tournament.
The Canadian hopes to make the fourth round of a Grand Slam for the third time in his career and for the first time in Wimbledon. He had a relatively good grass-court season with a 6-2 win/loss record registering some tough wins on the way against the likes of Tiafoe who is doing very well in Wimbledon.

Andy Murray hoping for another win with the aid of his home crowd
In a very competitive match, Andy Murray beat Otte of Germany in five sets. The German was a very tough opponent and went ahead by two sets to one. Murray got back his composure though and was decisive in the important points in the fourth and fifth sets as he converted two of his three points in the fifth points.
The two-time Wimbledon champion is showing great fighting spirit backed by the home fans. Murray’s Service has been his strong aspect so far as he is serving 63.5% and winning 72.5% of the points behind them. 34 unforced errors per match are acceptable in the two matches where he played nine sets but must try to improve against Shapovalov.

Denis Shapovalov vs Andy Murray Prediction
It gets tougher for Andy Murray as he passes from round to round. He lost one set in the first round and two in the second. Shapovalov is a much better player than Basilashvili and Otte as the Canadian is the world number 12.
The main advantage for Murray will be his experience and the home-court crowd.
We think Shapovalov will be the toughest opponent for Murray in this campaign as he can threaten Murray’s backhand with his left-handed forehand.
The total games bet seems to be a good option as both players have played a lot of games in their matches and we reckon this could be another match with a lot of games.
