This match sees two teams at opposite ends of the table take each other on as Crawley Town host Notts County.

Crawley manager Harry Kewell is in his first ever managerial role and, so far, his side have had an inconsistent start to the season with no back-to-back wins recorded. This puts them down in 18th and just three points above the dropzone.

The Red Devils had initially struggled with the offensive side of their game this term but they have now found the back of the net in each of their last three outings. Defensively, Crawley have been poor with 16 goals conceded in their nine competitive matches so far this campaign. Additionally, they have kept just one clean sheet in their last four.

Harry Kewell’s men finally picked up their first home points of the campaign in their last match at the Broadfield Stadium with a 2-0 win against Yeovil Town. However, Crawley had had problems on their own patch even prior to Kewell’s arrival and that victory against Yeovil was only their second win at home since 14th January.

After nearly suffering relegation to non-league football last year, Notts County have made a flying start to the new season and currently sit second in League Two.

Kevin Nolan’s men have been particularly good at the back in recent times and they have now kept clean sheets in each of their last three games. However, after going on a goalscoring rampage earlier on in the season, County have lost a bit of their bite in the final third – scoring just one goal in two of their last three matches. Having said that, given their watertight defence, this is not too much of a worry for them.

The Magpies have recovered from their opening day defeat at Coventry City to record two wins from their two away league matches since. Additionally, County have scored eight times in their three away league and cup matches since that defeat.

Although Crawley are showing a few signs of recovery, I think Notts County will have too much for them here and so I am going with Notts County to Win which is priced at 13/10. Furthermore, it is certainly worth noting that County have won each of the last four meetings between the pair.
