Back to winning ways for Villa
Aston Villa came out comfortable 2-0 winners on Tuesday night against Norwich City and former boss, Dean Smith.
Villa have now exchanged wins and losses in their last four matches but with 12 points from a possible 18 since Steven Gerrard took charge, they are now positioned in the top half of the table, 11 points away from the drop zone.
The Villains now face another bottom three side in Burnley and will be feeling quietly confident of getting their second win in a row.

Firing blanks
Burnley are winless in their last five with no goals scored in their last three. However, holding West Ham scoreless in their last match was impressive.
Burnley will come into this match the fresher of the two sides after their midweek match against Watford was called off late due to Watford’s Covid outbreak.
Burnley will also be boosted by the return of Maxwel Cornet after he came off injured against Newcastle earlier this month.
Aston Villa vs Burnley predictions
Burnley will be the fresher side going into this one, but Villa are one of the form teams since Gerrard took charge.
With only Newcastle faring worse on their travels than Burnley it is hard to see The Clarets getting anything from this one, we predict that Villa will win.
With Villa’s tight defence since their change of management and Burnley’s poor strike rate in front of goal we believe that Villa will also win to nil.
