Tammy Abraham Breaks Silence Amid Struggling Start Of The Season As Roma Go On International Break
After becoming Roma’s most clinical striker in the past season, Tammy Abraham is yet to repeat similar feat this season as he heads into the World Cup break missing out England National team call-up.
“It hasn’t been the fairytale start we all would’ve wanted but in life there’s always ups & downs,” the former Chelsea striker wrote on Instagram.
“For the fans, For Rome, you deserve more & that’s what I & my team will give you after the break. Thank you to the real fans who never left our side through good or bad. Bad times make the good times better. Stay safe & see you soon. Daje Roma Sempre.”
In reaction, Jose who was asked if Tammy’s form was due to the lack of motivation said; “I am old-fashioned, but I think that when you become a professional football player in a universe where millions and millions of children dream of doing this, you don’t need the support of anyone,” said the Special One.
“You don’t need an external source of motivation. What is this? An external source. A coach, a psychologist. Why?
“You have to give your all every day on the pitch, in every training session, in every match. Play badly, play well, make mistakes, but the attitude is something separate from that.
“The external source of motivation should be that plus, that little bit extra, but you are a man. Mistakes are part of the game, but when it comes to the attitude, that is different. Do you need motivation to earn your salary?”
