Odds on Spartak Moscow drifted after Quincy Promes injury
In his nineth game for the Netherlands Quincy Promes left the field in pain in the first half. Today on March 31 he’s going to have a scan to see the conditions of his cruciate knee ligaments. Spartak representatives are cautious mentioning that the Dutch might miss the upcoming Russian Premier League game against FC Rostov. But in the worst case scenario Promes will miss up to six months.
The bookmakers drifted the odds on Spartak Moscow who now can find themselves without their top goalscorer.
Dmitri Alenichev’s team are currently 5th in the league and they are chasing the leaders with this season’s noise-maker FC Rostov among them.
Quincy Promes moved to Moscow from FC Twente in August 2014 for €11.5 million. He’s scored 25 goals and made 12 assists in 52 matches in Russia. Everton and Tottenham were ready to sign him last January, but Spartak Moscow owner Leonid Fedun demanded no less than €40 million for his transfer.
