“Knows what is needed”: Clarence Seedorf claims Roberto Firmino is “a bit like” Real Madrid star

Firmino has played a key role in the Liverpool squad, being their top scorer and top assister this season.

Seedorf believes the attacker will continue to play a vital part in Jurgen Klopp’s team despite Darwin Nunez’s arrival at Anfield.

“Firmino would always put him in, in recent years Liverpool did well because he is a bit like Benzema at Real Madrid, he knows how to play a little lower and goes on the wings, he is a 9 who knows what is needed to the team and Klopp will bet a lot on him again this season, despite the arrival of Nunez,” he said, via HITC.
