Journalist provides update on Erik ten Hag’s transfer plans for the summer

After Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure from the club, United have been linked with a number of names as his potential replacement.

The Netherlands’ star Cody Gakpo was among the players on the Red Devils’ top wishlist, however, the attacker ended up joining Liverpool during the January transfer window.

According to Luckhurst, signing a new forward is United’s priority for the summer, however, they could also raise funds in order to have more arrivals.

The journalist claims the manager Erik ten Hag wants to sign a younger midfielder for the squad’s future improvement.
