Journalist Nizaar Kinsella provides update on Chelsea’s pursuit of Declan Rice

West Ham Star has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge for the long term. Last summer the Blues were close to signing the midfielder, however, any deal didn’t materialise.

According to Kinsella, Chelsea have now cooled down their interest in Rice following the transfer of Mykhailo Mudruk from Shakhtar Donetsk.

Meanwhile, the journalist has added that Arsenal have identified Rice as their top target after failing to secure a move for the Ukraine international.

Manchester City and Manchester United are also interested in the services of the Hammers’ man and could be in race with the Gunners.

#Chelsea have been previously linked with Declan Rice, but their interest is understood to have cooled. Arsenal are working on a deal to sign the West Ham midfielder after moving ahead of Man City and Man United in the race.
