Chelsea football club are looking to add new legs to the midfield and have identified quite a number of names including Brighton’s Moses Caicedo. Italian journalist and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano provides update on the transfer.

According to recent reports, Chelsea FC is looking to solidify its midfield heading into the new season. The team, under the guidance of coach Graham Potter , has experimented with different players in the midfield since the start of the current campaign.

However, with the winter transfer window already opened , the London club is looking to establish a more settled group in the heart of the team.

In addition to strengthening the midfield, Chelsea is also working to resolve some internal issues.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the club is currently in talks with N’Golo Kante over a new contract, while the situation with Jorginho remains uncertain.

As for potential new arrivals at Stamford Bridge, Romano has provided an update on the club’s pursuit of Moises Caicedo and other targets.

He stated that there is currently no update on the situation with Caicedo, as the player is in the process of selecting new agents. Romano also noted that it is too early to tell how this will affect Chelsea’s current players or other transfer targets, as the market is unpredictable.

Regarding other previously linked targets such as Declan Rice and Enzo Fernandez, Romano said that it is too early to comment on any potential summer moves. He emphasized that the transfer market is constantly changing and that more information will likely be available closer to the summer transfer window.
