Chelsea’s new signing fires subtle shot at Arsenal and Chelsea.
Tottenham Hotspur have missed out on the signing of former youth academy player Noni Madueke, as the talented winger completes his move to Chelsea.
Madueke, who left Spurs in 2018 to join PSV Eindhoven, has developed into a fantastic player and was a sought-after target for several clubs in the January transfer window.
However, it was Chelsea who secured his signature, paying £29 million for the 20-year-old. Madueke has sparked controversy by claiming that Chelsea is the best club in London, a statement that may not sit well with both Tottenham and Arsenal supporters.
The Winger speaking after his signing said “Chelsea is the best club in London, of course.
“I’m really pleased to join one of the best clubs in the world. To return to England and play in the Premier League is a dream for me.”
The 20 year old will be hoping to witness his club defeat Liverpool on Saturday.
